		<description>Thanks for the great article!
I&#039;m one of the home gardeners up here in Whatcom County that has been hit by aminopryalid tainted compost. I&#039;ve contacted our Master Gardeners and our County Extension agent, the Washington Department of Agriculture, the nursery that sold me the compost, and Dow Chemical (no response, there, no surprise). What alarms me is the seeming lack of action by any of the above agencies. I have received instructions on how to remove aminopryalid from my garden (time and labor intensive), true, but the nursery isn&#039;t offering compensation, and the Department of Agriculture says all the tainted compost has been removed from Whatcom County (I have my doubts after researching the issue). So what are small organic gardeners like me, suppose to do? These chemicals are insidious, persistant, and widely used. So what can we do on, a grassroots level, to get the word out about aminopryalid and get the darn stuff banned before it poisons anymore land?
